Van Hyde: Visit Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

In the first week of December, we visited the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This trip allowed us to connect with various public and private organizations, reinforcing our commitment to driving technological growth across the region.

During our stay, we met with two outstanding developers, Marco De La Cruz and Nahum Santa, who joined our program during the second half of 2024. Both shared their firsthand experiences of utilizing the Van Hyde International program to land their next high-impact remote roles. 

We also discussed their latest career milestones and what the tech market has in store for 2025. While the tech industry saw waves of massive layoffs across the US, Canada, and LatAm, the tide is turning—we are now seeing a steady comeback in both the volume of job openings and salary packages for remote developers.
